DREAM A NEW DREAM

                        ......C S LEWIS

There is no doubt if you're experiencing signs of a midlife crisis, it can be a confusing and scary time - I can certainly vouch for that.  It's a time where you could be questioning your mortality, what you've achieved in life, if  your hot flushes will ever stop or how you've mysteriously developed marionette lines overnight!

However, nowadays we are lucky to have so much information available at our fingertips, with many helpful blog posts around...from self help advice or skin care, fashion tips to being a single parent. Podcasts are particularly popular at the moment, especially during lockdown and I've discovered Gabby Logan's Mid Point. She talks to her guests about their midlife challenges a lot of which I found myself gazing into space, thinking, yup, that's me.

For me, a big part of my midlife crisis was a cliche bucket list I decided to write.  After all, if you're going to have a midlife crisis, you've got to have a bucket list.  Despite all the meltdowns I had along the way (and believe me, there were many), every time I ticked off another challenge, I would swell with pride, ready to face my next experience.  It has down my lack of confidence no end of good and I no longer look at the future thinking my life is over.

I'm hoping by sharing my many bucket list experiences and challenges, it'll give inspiration and ideas to show, like me, your life's not over.....in fact it's just beginning.

So, a little bit about me.....I'm a fifty year old mum of two amazing grown up children and an owner of a very cute Cavalier King Charles called Poppy.
My midlife crisis started when I was around forty five but it wasn't until a few years later that it became full blown and I morphed into a crazy lady.
